Since we’ve moved here, the stature of Achilles in Hyde Park has ALWAYS been one of my favourites. Not sure why… Maybe it’s because it’s made of made from metal from a captured French cannon, or maybe it’s because the fig leaf has twice been chipped off by vandals.
Or maybeeeeee... it was because I was questioned by two Metropolitan Police officers after I took the following photo.
